Formula E Rookie Test

Alex Dunne at the Saudi Arabian FE Rookie Test

Formula E have completed their first Rookie test in Berlin today. Ireland’s Alex Dunne did a 57.968 in the afternoon session which would have put him in the top 10 in FP1 for last weekend’s championship race. Although those times were not set in the exact same conditions it is still a great benchmark and a competitive time. In first position was F2 compatriot Gabriele Mini with a 57.420. A great time which would’ve put him at the top of the timing sheets in last weekend’s FP1 session again for the actual event. Mini took over the World Champion Oliver Rowland’s Nissan car for the test and did not disappoint. McLaren junior teammate Ella Lloyd was the second fastest of the female drivers in 18th in the afternoon session ahead of Jamie Chadwick, Ella Weiss, Jonathan Hoggard and Bianca Bustamante.
