Camara set to graduate to Formula 2 for next season.

Invicta Racing have announced today that reigning formula 3 champion, Rafael Camara will join the team for the 2026 FIA Formula 2 championship season.

Camara becomes the third Formula 3 champion to occupy an Invicta Racing Formula 2 seat in the last three years. Most notably Gabriel Bortoleto who has had major success in formula one this year after previously driving for Invicta.

This year Invicta have proved to be one of if not the strongest of teams in Formula 2 with Leonardo Fornaroli leading the standings and Roman Stanek having an impressive season so far.

Invicta Racing’s James Robinson praised Rafael saying “All through his career to date he’s shown great consistency, pace and maturity in the car” and “we are excited to see what he can do next season”. Camara will be fortunate to have experience alongside him next year in the form of multiple race winner Joshua Dürksen who now enters his third year of the championship.
